The Story of N1564D
Every plane has a story and this one has a story from early on.  Beech built the plane in mid 1994 and registered it as N1564D.  In April 1995 with 64 hours total time, the plane was exported to Poland and de-registered on the U.S. registry.  In September 1995 at 147 hours, the plane had a hard landing with a prop strike in Poland.  The owner elected to have the plane disassembled and shipped back to U.S. rather than repair it in Poland.  It was shipped back to the U.S. and stored until 2001.  In 2001 the plane was re-assembled and re-registered with the FAA.  The original N number was available and was repainted on the plane with a fresh Certificate of Airworthiness dated 8/15/2002. The Form 337 describing the new parts installed is below in pdf form.
My client bought the plane in 2004 at 209 hours total time and has hangared it at KIDL in Indianola, MS since.
Over the last 14 years of ownership he has replaced the engine and prop, upgraded the panel, installed various STC mods such as DeShannon Genesis Package Gross Weight Increase Components like Flap/Aileron Gap Seals, Engine Cooling Baffle Kit, VGs, 20 gallon tip tanks, etc.  The airplane has complete records from new along with the Journey Log from Poland.  Because it was in Poland less than a year, the maintenance records from Poland are few.
Just annualled by his long time A&P/IA Jimmy Chrestensen, this is a very nice example of a low time squawk free A36.
